How do you deal with furniture delivery?
Magnolia uses various outside delivery companies for furniture deliveries. Standard delivery charges for average to large sized pieces of furniture range from approximately $65 to $125. Magnolia will be happy to assist you in making arrangements with any delivery company you choose to select.
 
Can I pick up the furniture that I purchase on my own, or do I have to use a professional delivery company?
While Magnolia strongly recommends professional delivery, we recognize that some customers desire to pick up their own pieces. All customers picking up must bring sufficient man-power to bring the piece to their vehicle and the proper wrappings, blankets and rope to get it home safely. Because of severe lack of storage all pieces must be picked up within one week from date of purchase.
 
If I see a product at Magnolia that I like, can it be held for me?
Magnolia will hold any furniture item until close of business the following day. Second and subsequent holds will be until close of business the day they are contacted.
 
Does Magnolia offer a discount to designers?
Magnolia is pleased to offer a trade discount to professional designers. Upon presentation of appropriate credentials, Magnolia will extend a ten percent (10%) on furniture and home furnishings purchases.
 
Does Magnolia impose a sales tax on purchases?
All sales will be charged the then-current state general excise sales tax, currently 4.712%.
 
How does Magnolia handle returns?
Return Policy – ALL SALES FINAL on all items in store (including, but not limited to, jewelry, food products, books, gardening items, dinnerware, faux flowers, gifts & accessories), except furniture (including mirrors) & lighting. Furniture & lighting (in original condition only) may be returned for store credit only, and such returns must be made within 7 days of purchase, and must be accompanied by the original receipt. This policy applies to all customers, including professional designers.
 
What types of credit cards does Magnolia accept?
Magnolia accepts Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discovery, and JCB.
 
Can I place an order over the phone, to be picked up later at the store?
Yes, call us at (808) 734-2200. Phone orders require credit card payment. We will hold purchased items at the store for you for pick up within two (2) days of purchase.
 
Can I purchase a gift certificate from Magnolia?
Yes, gift certificates can be purchased in any dollar amount. Such purchases can be made in the store or over the phone.
 
Can I purchase gift baskets from Magnolia?
Absolutely. We specialize in creating beautiful and unique custom gift baskets. You may choose from various “fixed” gift baskets, as presented in our in-store brochure. Alternatively, you may choose individual products in the store to be arranged together in a gift basket. Just ask a sales-associate for assistance.
 
Does Magnolia accept special requests for products?
Magnolia is open to requests for specialized products. If possible, Magnolia will attempt to bring special products into the store.
 
Does Magnolia hold regular sales?
Magnolia is committed to making unique and beautiful products available to Honolulu shoppers at reasonable prices. Given this, Magnolia does not plan on holding regular sales. From time to time, Magnolia may discount certain products in order to make room for new inventory.
 
Does Magnolia have a newsletter?
Yes, Magnolia sends a newsletter via email to those customers that have requested to be included in on updates about the store. The electronic newsletter provides information about new products, as well as informs customers about upcoming events, such as open houses, special guests, and special olive oil tastings. Often, the newsletter contains coupons to reward customer loyalty.
 
Where does Magnolia get its antiques?
Magnolia purchases its antiques from England through an exclusive arrangement with a reputable British dealer who sources said antiques throughout Europe.
 
Does Magnolia warrant the accuracy of the dates or descriptions of its antiques?
Dates and descriptions of the antiques are provided by Magnolia’s dealer. All antiques are sold “as-is”. Magnolia does not warrant the accuracy of the dates or descriptions of antiques it sells.
 
Does Magnolia offer design services?
Yes. Inquires regarding design services should be made directly to a sales associate. Hourly rates vary depending upon the complexity of the project.
 
Does Magnolia have additional inventory of antiques?
Yes. Magnolia has a warehouse in town that houses additional inventory. Viewings are available by appointment, or during periodic open houses at the warehouse.
